Maya Petropoulos (puh-trop-uh-lis, what a mouth full!!) is an NYC based actor, singer, and dancer. She is from Detroit, Michigan and is a proud Lebanese-American. In 2022, Maya originated the role of Aaneseh in Doc-Anderson Bloomfield’s “Little Did I Know”, a one-woman show that tells the story of a Syrian refugee and her journey to asylum.

If you couldn’t tell by her name, Maya is also Greek and loves appreciating her Mediterranean heritage by eating lots of hummus (home made, of course) and drinking olive oil by the gallon!!

She just received her BFA in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University, right outside NYC. Besides performing, Maya enjoys writing, directing, and making short films with her friends. And pickles, she really likes pickles too.
